Annenberg Community Beach House: 5th Anniversary Weekend

The Annenberg Community Beach House is a 5-acre public beach facility nestled along the Santa Monica coastline, with spectacular ocean views, a children's playground, art gallery, historic pool and the original Marion Davies Guest House. Community Arts Resources was given the opportunity to program and implement a weekend-long community open house to mark the fifth anniversary of one of the City of Santa Monica's community treasures. The two-day celebration featured a variety of free family-friendly programs including beach activities and games; fitness and ballroom-style dance classes; music and dance performances; tours of the historic Guest House and grounds; and more. In addition to planning and producing the event logistics for the weekend, alongside Ashley E. Rodgers Communications, CARS managed the marketing and outreach plan for the anniversary celebration, including print, online, broadcast and social medias, community outreach, website management and email blasts.
