Metro Art Presents: Union Station Concerts
Community Arts Resources partnered with Metro Art to produce a dynamic series of public programs at Los Angeles Union Station, transforming one of the city's most iconic transit hubs into a space for creativity and connection. This series invites Angelenos to experience Union Station as both a place of transit and as a destination for shared artistic encounters.
Community Arts Resources shaped a multi-event program that activated the historic station across several evenings through creative direction, event production, artist coordination, and audience engagement strategies. Each event reimagines the journey itself, encouraging visitors to gather, explore, and connect with one another through accessible, free arts programming.
Beginning with the vibrant rhythms and joyful participation of Bollywood Express, continuing through the interdisciplinary performances and dialogue of LAte Night Train of Thought, and culminating in a forthcoming May program, the series reflects Community Arts Resources' commitment to creating inclusive public experiences that bring people together through the arts. Together, these events transform everyday travel into moments of discovery, demonstrating how public spaces can foster belonging, curiosity, and community through the arts.
