DWP Centennial Celebration - Voices for a Green LA

Community Arts Resources (CARS) produced this free concert in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to celebrate the centennial of the Department of Water and Power (DWP). Curated by CARS to reflect the diversity of Los Angeles, the evening event began in the Music Center plaza with taiko drumming by Zenshuji Zendeko and continued with the LADWP Choraliers in the Grand Hall prior to the start of the concert. The concert featured ADAAWE, the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, FAME Church's Brookinaires Gospel Choir, Yolanda Adams, a duet with Cantor Haim Mizrahi and famed Armenian oud player John Bilezikjian, and culminated with Los Lobos.
