Full-Time Temporary Position - for one year with the possibility of renewal
Community Arts Resources (CARS) is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Coordinator to support a range of community-driven projects culminating in cultural events in 2022. Ideal candidates should be interested in an interdisciplinary position that combines elements of office coordination and administration, community relations, event management, social media, and graphics in the unique setting of a small business focused on community arts and culture.This position requires the coordinator to be on-site at the CARS office up to two days per week - any more is at your discretion - working remotely for the balance of time.
Support the CARS' executive team including meeting coordination, scheduling, calendars, etc.
Perform preliminary and precedent research in support of CARS' projects
Assist with development of marketing and community outreach campaigns
Manage and produce content of eblasts, website blog posts and social media posts
Assist with business presentations and with the development of business proposals
Assist with community outreach, meetings, and community engagement
A self-starter with excellent written, graphic, and communications skills
Extraordinary attention to detail; nothing escapes your notice
Proficient with administrative tasks including email correspondence, coordinating schedules and meetings, in person or virtual
A creative-thinker and problem-solver with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience in social media
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, various social media platforms
At least two years work experience
Foreign language skills a plus
Flexible weekend schedule to work events in 2022

Salary / Benefits:
CARS offers a competitive salary that includes full medical coverage, paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays,). Salary will meet industry standards and will be commensurate with applicant's experience.
